  • Weekend Ride

Borrowed a bike from a friend and took a slightly spur of the moment trip up to canada to visit some farmers i met at a farm management class i took. Was fun to see farming in a different part of the world. Yes that grain cart is as big as it looks (maybe bigger, it holds 2 semi's worth at a time) i even got to run that. Bit different running cart for 3 combines at once, you have to be on your toes. Didn't take a ton of pics of the ride or anything. Did end up taking about 50 miles of gravel roads on my way home. Not the best bike for that, but it did wet my appetite to do some more long rides, and more on gravel roads...but with a better bike! I left on friday as soon as we finished hay, at about 5pm, and got home on tuesday. 1,657 miles according to the odometer! Not bad!

You farmers get to play with such cool toys!

What kind of bike is that? Victory? Your route looks interesting. How was the scenery, flat or interesting?

Yeah Victory. Not sure much about it other then that, lol!

Scenery was ok, fairly flat, but i am always interested in farming, so kind of neat for me to see. return route through canada was more interesting, pretty along northern Minnesota, but not super great.
