You can. That runs $2-3k. That is only from limited research. I am not sure what installation would run or additional lights. They are really hard on the front end of trucks though. Especially 1/2 tons. Frames on the 3/4, 1 tons are better suited for that.

Something to think about if you are putting a plow on a truck for non-commercial use. Check your insurance. Some will NOT cover a truck with a plow unless you go with commercial insurance. And as Jeff said, its not real good to put a plow on a 1/2 ton anyways, even those "half ton safe ones". Frame isn't designed for that kind of stress and neither is any of the front suspension components. Seen a half ton actually have a bend in the frame due to a plow being installed. Owner put one on even though it said explicitly NO PLOWS should be installed on it. 1yr old truck used 1 season and the frame ended up bent from plowing. And no Dodge did NOT honor the warranty on it. Granted this was back in 95, but it still applies.

Wait a minute. Look at those shifty eyes. That devious half-smile. Those kazoo-kissed lips.

battery start, fingertip steering control, tracks for great grip. a little pricey, but it should last 20 years.

Go buy a $500 CL beater for a plow truck/yard dog. My dad had a $100 78 ramcharger, was awesome for plowing, mudding and leaving oil, rust and mud piles where ever it was parked. It always started and could push snow all day long.

                  Me personally.....shovel works just fine.

The Nissan came with a plow - so nice to do mine having an actual plow truck of my very own the snowblower takes 3+ hours and the lawn tractor/plow depended on the snow. The truck takes about an hour
                    here fishy, fishy,fishy! arrr

If you were my dad, the response would not have been to buy a plow, it would have been: "What do you think I had kids for?"

I would do the same, but the driveway is really big. I tried to use the snowblower on it the other day. It was a pain in the ass! It was actually easier going up the hill than down. Still painful because of all the rocks and pot holes. The blower kept on locking up with rocks. So plow it is. Probably just a cheap 4x4 4 wheeler.

Now that the snow is melted there should be deals galore on CL, letgo, etc.
