IS it normal for new bearings to be tight after being installed? They turn but they are a bit snug.
Wait a minute. Look at those shifty eyes. That devious half-smile. Those kazoo-kissed lips.

Well looks like I'm pulling them out then. Wonder if they were driven in too far.

More likely a bad bearing. Or a bearing that was mislabeled.

I don't know a lot about bearings, but I doubt they would make a spot for a bearing that tapers. At least not without having a seat for the bearing to sit on and prevent it from getting to far in.

Hmm, I completely forgot about tapered bearings.

Well may had been to premature. They aren't spinning as freely as my rain rims bearings (not even close. you can fee the 'roughness'). SO my guess is that I screwed them up somehow (never did wheel bearings on a motorcycle before). So I just ordered OEM ones to replace the All Balls I tried to put in.

Jose (lol), you did yours didn't you? May need some "help".

New bearings should be in friday. The bearing drivers cyclegear should have?

New ones (oem) came in tonight. fronts sealed both sides. The rear ones, shielded on one side and open on the other. unlike the All Balls one I just had which front and rear were both sealed.

Now when I removed the all balls, the rears (which were the tight ones) spun freely. God I hate this.

Stopped at a Suzuki dealer today. They said the rear bearings SHOULD be sealed, not open on one side. Geesh.
