That's ok. There are already some totally awesome pictures of it over ancient UK/EU castles and such. It's more fitting over things like that.

Trailers loaded, trailers fixed, trailer wheels torque checked, leathers in trailer, watching Megan Rain porn video, towel check, new painted rain rims in truck to get my rains switched over, have to stop at Woodmans in Betroit to get ice and some All Sport then to the track and hopefully avoid the armco at the guard shack.
Wait a minute. Look at those shifty eyes. That devious half-smile. Those kazoo-kissed lips.

Interesting weekend. Not a good weekend for a few unfortunate people, including one of our own from this site. Has anyone heard anything more about him? Helicopter called twice on Sunday

On Saturday 2nd practice, some coolant on the track cause 8 of us (i think) to go down in the carousel. I was the 3rd person go down. The yellow flag was waving so I had my head up and saw Leeds and another person tumbling in the grass. I assumed they had gotten tangled up, when all the sudden I lost my bike. I figured there was something on the track, and knew more bikes might be coming at us, so I scrambled out of the way quickly, after helping Leeds out from under my bike lol. I looked back and there were several more bikes flying through the grass towards us, but we made it behind the berm. All in all, no one was seriously injured that i know of, since we were so low to the ground already when we slid out. My left palm is a little bruised, and inside knee a little sore from the bike landing on it, but that's it.

Bike just needed a new right rearset (thanks Ryan Nolan for the loaner!), and a few zip ties, and I was ready to go.

Saturdays races ULSB I was a little off pace, not fully trusting my bike was 100% yet lol. Plus my new rearset was too far back, and my boot kept getting stuck on my exhaust hanger lol. LWSS was better, running consistent 1:23s, but not where i wanted time wise.

Sunday GTL: 2nd place, didn't realize until Tyson told me he has a plaque with my name on it lol. Finally got to the 1:22s, hitting it on my 2nd lap.
                Sunday LWSS: 4th
Sunday ULSB: Last I think? Lol. Was pretty tired here. I got passed by Ryan Music on a 300, so I decided to use the race to work on braking points, and was following Music around and using his 300 braking points.

I have a trackday Wednesday, where I'm hoping to work on a few things like body positioning (i've been getting lazy lol).

Hopefully our member here is OK!! Sucks to get a flight out. Thanks to the guys from OH that helped pack him up and coordinate taking his stuff home!!
I hope you heal up quick, T!!

I had an absolute blast this weekend! I spent the whole time on track thinking....GET SMALL ! lol

Sat practice I was able to blip a 1:35.9

Sat Classic Vintage GP (combined with Classic Vintage Superbikes) = 3rd place
Sat 300SS = 6th? (Everyone seemed to leave me for dead, lol)

                  Sun CV = 4th
                  Sun 300SS = Top Am

I did a whole bunch of 1:36's during my races. The closest 300SS person was doing 1:27-1:29's, the rest were mid-twenties & low twenties.
Rubbed my bellypan some more on the right turns. Started to rub my right toe as well.
Rubbeb my bellypan on the left, now, as well.

So I have a combination of things to try\work on:
More ride height - Loose weight - hang off more & more corner speed (once the first items get done)

My first practice on Saturday morning almost turned into that Tango up and turn 3 with coolant on the track. I was following Jeff in the exact same line he was riding through that turn. His Supermoto went down in my bike didn't even wiggle so maybe I was just a hair off of the line and that was just enough to not hit the coolant.

Aside from that it was a wonderful weekend for me. I got four first-place finishes and three second-place finishes through the weekend. Leeds you're a total jerk! I'm going to put sand in your crankcase the next time you show up to a race weekend!

I had some very good battles this weekend. I have some room for improvement and I feel like I had 17s on my last race of Sunday however I'm pretty sure my transponder stopped working because when the race was over nothing was lit up on it. Gary!

Well I'm an idiot. Saturday at tech I was told my hard hats build date was 2014. I just bought a new identical one in 2017 as a backup. Checked that one and it was 2014 also. Well needless to say I just ordered a new Suomy SR Carbon today. 10 minutes after clicking submit I had a math revelation. My current Suomy I wear on the track is good until june 2019.

Yep I'm an idiot. But on the bright side, I got a new carbon fibre helmet coming my way.

Oh if anyone was curious why I pulled off after 2 laps in LWF40, my ankle started going nuts to where it was being dangerous.

I came into the weekend sick and with low expectations... ended up with 4 2nds, 2 3rds, 2 fifths, and a 6th. running all the heavyweight races, GTO, ULSS and ULGP... 6 podiums out of 9 races I'm alright with, especially considering 5 of them were unlimited races and I was running a 750... Which I found out is even more tired than I thought after getting pulled on the straights by some 600's this weekend. Two of the races I lead from the start to the last lap, one I got passed coming out of 7 to the checker after I bumped my quickshifter after my upshift and it cut power again.. the other one I got passed into turn 3 on the last lap and couldn't get back around the guy. Had a similar thing happen in another race when I ran 2nd the whole race and got passed coming out of 6 on the last lap, passed him back into 7 but he was on a 1000 and ran away from me to the line. All in all a good weekend, and I got at least 5 hole shots, if not 6, which I'm pretty happy about considering how many unlimited races I was in.

Yea man, some of those 600s are pushing 125-135 with mild engine work and race gas (https://www.kwsmotorsports.com/yr6.htm). I wouldn't be surprised if that was more than a tired 750. Nice job on the placing though!
