Great base for a kart track tool. Throw some supermoto rims on it and go!
      2006 Honda CR 85 Expert - $1500 (Appleton area)

These are surprisingly quick. Would make a great pit bike too.

Need something to get around the pits or something fun to zip around the kart track with, new old stock 2018 Z125 Pros are only $2299 with no freight or setup fees at Southeast Sales. That's $900 off. You can't even find them used for that cheap.

$1900 '05 SV650. Not too bad condition. A little rough, but fine for someone's race or track bike. Looks perfectly crashable. Down by the Madison area too. 05 Suzuki SV650S Fuel Injected - $1900 (Sun Prairie)

Need a really nice pit bike for little money or something that can dart around a kart track? Don't mind a 4-5 hour drive to get it? At Heinen's motorsports in Minneapolis, get a Kymco K-pipe 125 for $999. Half price. Has 17" wheels that accept common sticky rubber sizes. 125cc GP bike slicks fit it.

Fun story about some guys racing one for 24 hours. the bike made it with minimal modifications.

                    2016 Yamaha FZ 07 - $3900 (JUNEAU)

Prime candidate for building into an SV beating lightweight race bike. Low miles but not pretty and has been lightly low sided once. Mechanically good, but some scrapes here and there. Could probably talk the guy down in price a bit. About an hour drive from Madison.

I read the article on the Kymco - racing in a 24-hr endurance....awesome read!
I also read the last race they did on a Grom125.
No way I could do endurance, but it certainly seems like a fun thing to watch\attend.

So... How come every other used FZ07 I see on craigslist has a stunt cage, a "Hoonigan" or "Kareless" sticker, a +3 rear sprocket and is "debadged" with "custom paint" which is mentioned as if it were a selling point and not covering up crash damage from a looped wheelie.

I don't even know what "Hoonigan" is, but it's not like I need to know. It's obviously some sort of hick stuntah crap.

isnt hoonigan the guy that started the gymkhana or gromkhana....?

Hoon: To hoon means to behaving in a rude and aggressive way, especially driving in a dangerous way. A person who hoons, that is, drives in a reckless manner, is called a hoonigan. A hoonigan often does drifting, burnouts, drag racing, etc

                              edit: yup. Ken Block.

It seems I was a hoonigan in high school. Good thing I didn't have interest in motorcycles back then.
