  • Well this blue is more sky blue when it's in the sun than I'd like but I don't want to repaint anything haha. Or retape. I'll be doing the front fender blue.

I think I'm going to leave the tank the darker blue for now. Spoot did such a nice job painting it last time, and it has a very durable anti-gas clearcoat on it. What do you guys think, leave it, or paint it to match?

Also, I will be getting the wheels painted white or powdercoated one of these days.

    • Looking good! Keep the current colors. The tank is too nice and the light blue matches your dreamy eyes. Feel free to tell Sabrina I said that.

        • Thanks guys. Plus I'd have to recut my $8 tank grips that are made from step grips

I ordered new wheels bearings today. I'm going to see if I have time in between events to get the wheels powder coated white, and then I'll do the bearings at the same time.

          • Started thinking about what I need for next season. Ordered a used rear master cylinder for $35, since mine got messed up that last crash, and the parts I needed for it cost more than a complete used one on ebay!

            I think I need:
            -Front calipers
            -Front brake lines
-Motion pro throttle cables and assembly
            -Fairing stay (vortex)

I'm really getting my finances in order this year (hoping to buy or build a house this summer/fall with the wife), and will likely be doing just track days so I can work the CCS days at least the work is enjoyable!

I need to put the new wheel bearings in my wheels as well.

Motorcycle work day at Capitalview's house soon?

              • Installed today:
                -Front calipers
                -Front lines
                -New Brembo master
-Motion Pro Throttle cables and assembly
-Rear master cylinder (for the linkage part)
                -OEM fairing stay

Charged the battery and fired it up. Took it for a spin around the cicle. Determined my kill switch (which is my keyless ignition) was damaged in my last crash, and was 50/50 on whether it wanted to turn on the bikel Ordered a used one on ebay for $20.

After that, I think I'm set to go. My tires are from late 2015, but I only did a few days last year, so I'm going to keep using them.

                      • Shakedown run successful! Replaced the kill switch and it starts up just fine.

Just need to top off the coolant, and throw on the fairings.
