        Interesting, but I've already made the decision to cut my losses now before it really gets out of control.

        There's a reason you don't see many Ducati's at casual track days. I thought it was worth a try, but quickly learned the hard way.

          Was it repair costs? I would have loved a torque monster like that to cut down on all that tedious shifting gears. Just pick a gear and pull through turn exits while everyone else is rowing that shift lever.

          How about a 675? Just the right number of cylinders!

            The bike was fantastic while it was running. The repair cost for a main bearing is approaching the price I paid for the bike and more than I can justify for a track bike.

            It's all a matter of point of view, I spent the last 5 years on the GSXR with only replacing a regulator and water pump ~12 track days per year (outside of normal maintenance).
